Park opens at 8:30am to the public but we are able to enter at 8:00. Join us for an awesome experience at the Byodo-in Temple! Pro Camera Hawaii will be there to loan out lenses and cameras for interested photographers. Winner of the most unique photo wins a sweet swag bag filled with prizes and goodies from our sponsors.

Date: Saturday, July 21st
Time: 8:00 - 10:00am, if late just enter and tell the cashier you are with the photo group.
Location: Valley of the Temples, Byodo-in Temple
Cost: Pay $4 at the door
Host: Chris Rose and Pro Camera Hawaii

Notes: RSVP deadline is July 14th (one week prior) because the temple folks need to have a headcount prior to our visit.

I recommend wearing slippers or cozy shoes, not much walking. You should bring a water and maybe some snacks. In my opinion a tripod will not be necessary but could come in handy if you plan to add filters and go for a long exposure. The pathway is very easy to walk and most of it is flat. Please research the temple on your own and use your own judgement if worried about the safety. It will be fun, easy and super enjoyable to photograph! Its going to be awesome!
